November elections are coming up. Totally exciting. Early voting will start soon. Please take the time to vote. Your vote counts! Whether your candidate wins or loses, the turn out and margin of victory will tell us what is important. As much as Facebook, Instagram and other social media gives an indication, voter turn out shows us what matters.

It's been interesting to see all of the campaign signs going up, lately. Reminds me of when I decided to run. I was elected last May which seems like just a few short weeks ago. I have learned a lot about how Fate works and the interaction between the city staff and the city council. There are rules and regulations that I wasn't aware of on what you can and cannot do as a council member. I understand the reasoning behind most of them and appreciate how they protect both the citizens and those who serve. There are a few that I know about and follow but still not 100% why they were put in place. I would say that's politics but -- well it is. I am very much excited to serve and looking forward to what can be accomplished in 2022. I wish everyone a very happy new year.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I am excited for the coming week and new year. At this time of year it's wonderful that we can not only celebrate our love and hope for our families and friends but those who we barely know and those who we are yet to meet. Welcome to my new page as a city councilman for Fate Texas. I plan to use this page to inform, educate and promote activities going on within the CIty of Fate. It's been a few months now since I was elected. I have learned a lot since then, and I am sure more to learn.
