Beginning September 8th through September 25th, City Hall will be closing to the public daily at 1:00 PM as our staff participates in training and prepares for our new software and data conversion to BS&A, which will begin September 28th.

While staff will be working on gathering materials and in training, we will still be available to assist with questions by phone or email whenever possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this transition.

Utility payments can still be made online using a credit/debit card or bank account or in the drop box located in front of City Hall.

We will also have supplies available in the front lobby, including:
• Envelopes & Pens for Cash and check payments
• New service forms
• Disconnect forms
• Other important documents

Completed forms and payments can be placed in the drop box, which staff will check periodically throughout the day.

We know changes like this can take some adjustment, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding over the next few weeks. We are excited about the new BS&A system and the improvements it will bring by helping streamline many of our daily tasks, processes, and reports.

Beginning October 1st, Utilities will also launch a new online customer portal offering:

The photos below show trash and large items that were recently dumped at DC Rogers Lake. This is not a dumping area, and we need the community’s help keeping the lake clean and enjoyable for everyone. The designated area near the gun range is ONLY for limbs, leaves, and brush. Large items must be scheduled for pickup with RTS Waste Removal at 660-784-2474. The trash cans at the lake are ONLY for small trash items.

If you see someone dumping, please report it to City Hall. If you know who is responsible for the items pictured, please contact us.

⚠️ Illegal dumping will not be tolerated! Anyone caught dumping will be prosecuted.

Residents in the surrounding areas, including Shields, Noland, and N. Williams, may experience no water or very low water pressure while crews work to address the break.

Due to an unexpected failure of the air conditioning unit, City Hall will be closing at 2:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, August 18th. As always Utilities payments may still be made at the City Hall drop box or online at https://cityoffayettemo.frontdeskgworks.com/.
