Elections to be held in November will cover Sunday alcohol sales in Fayetteville and annual fire dues for Tontitown Area Fire Department areas.

A big thank you to the Quorum Court! Last night they voted to put the annual fire department membership dues on the ballot in November!

This will not be a new fee, it’s the same membership fee you have received in the past in the mail - just with a more convenient way to pay.

For those that saw the article in the paper this week about voting to put fire dues on the election ballot here is a little information. This is NOT a tax, it’s the same dues you receive in the mail every year from us. The dues amounts have not changed and will not change if this passes. It’s still a voluntary due, but the money we receive is what we operate on each year. Voting yes would make it easier on the property owners to just make one payment with your property tax. If this makes it on the ballot in November look for more information in your mailbox. Thanks for continuing to support your local volunteer fire department.
