We had a great time with our model safety city at Bernice Young Elementary School, where we demonstrated to students potentially dangerous scenarios surrounding power lines and other electrical hazards and how to safely navigate them.

Happy Right of Way Professionals Week to our right of way team!

From managing vegetation around power lines to helping members understand the work being done in their communities, these employees play an important role in keeping our electric system safe and reliable. Whether they're working in the field, meeting with landowners, or representing Ozarks Electric at local events, they help build the relationships that make our cooperative stronger.

As temperatures rise, so does the demand for electricity. During summer months, energy use typically peaks in the late afternoon and early evening when air conditioners are working hardest. A friendly reminder that our peak summer hours are 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Protect your accounts by enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) wherever possible. MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second step, like a code sent to your phone or an authentication app, beyond just your password. Even if a scammer steals your login information through phishing or data breaches, MFA can stop them from accessing your account. You can enable multi-factor authentication in MyOzarks under Settings > Security > Two-factor authentication.
