Friends of Fayetteville Public Library The Friends organization was founded in 1981 to support the Fayetteville Public Library in its mission through volunteering, fundraising, and advocacy.

Through membership gifts, the Friends Bookstore, and annual book sales, the Friends of the Fayetteville Public Library partner with the library to provide funding to assist the library's mission and core values. Money raised by Friends’ Bookstore sales has funded the quite spendy vehicle-drive simulator, visiting author events, the kids’ summer reading program, etc. Currently, we are low on donated books.

While you’re heat-bound inside, please take a look at your shelves and donate gently loved books to replenish the store. Your library thanks you.
