The Elizabeth Getreu Memorial Scholarship Foundation has awarded $31,500 in scholarships to 21 Fayette County Public Schools graduating seniors pursuing post-secondary education in the arts, business and medical fields.

This year also marks a meaningful milestone: for the first time, a scholarship was awarded to a graduate from Fayette LIFE Academy’s Open Campus program. Aaliyah Purce plans to study graphic design at Southern Crescent Technical College.

Since the scholarship program began, 57 FCPS graduates have received support to help pursue their dreams after high school.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients and thank you to the Elizabeth Getreu Memorial Scholarship Foundation for continuing to invest in our students and their futures.
