Candidates running in the November 3rd election may begin placing their political signs in the Fayetteville city limits on Saturday August 15, 2026. Please follow the sign regulations listed below. Sign regulation packets will be mailed to each candidate as soon as we receive the official candidate list from the Election Commission office. Please pass along this information to anyone working on your campaign.

PUBLIC NOTICE!!
FIRE CLEANUP ON THE SQUARE WILL BEGIN ON 08/18/26 AND CONTINUE UNTIL COMPLETE!
Beginning Tuesday morning, August 18, 2026, Market Street will be closed continuously until the fire cleanup work is completed. The upper portion of the sidewalk will remain open to provide customers access to each business. Access points will be available at both ends of Market Street.
