Our summer interns joined Crystal Bridges interns for lunch and a panel. Interns heard from Crystal Bridges Director of Inclusion and Belonging, Director of Community Partnerships, and Internship Program & Engagement Manager as well as the Center for Community Engagement’s Community Outreach Coordinator. Our interns also received a guided tour of the new exhibition: America 250. We are so grateful for Crystal Bridges, their staff and interns, and Tyrah Jackson for organizing this enlightening experience!

🌍 Happy Earth Day! 🌱 This Earth Day, we’re highlighting the link between sustainability and food recovery. Every year, perfectly good food is thrown away, harming the environment, while many people still face food insecurity. By recovering and redistributing surplus food, we can reduce waste, lower emissions, and help feed our communities. Together, we can nourish people and our planet! 🌎💚

We’re incredibly grateful for their time and dedication, and we’re excited to see all the amazing things they’ll accomplish in their next chapter!

Join us at the Pantry Market to pick up fresh produce, grab-and-go snacks, and bakery items while learning more about food resources available to students on campus. In partnership with Spring Creek Food Hub, Villines Farm, and Ozark Natural Foods, we will be offering a variety of fresh items for students to take with them. Stop by, explore what is available, and grab something to go. The event will take place on the Union Mall on April 10th from 11 AM – 1 PM. We hope to see you there!
