As the snow continues to accumulate, be sure to check on your neighbors and bring your pets inside.

If power does go out please practice safe use of generators-keeping them outside in a well vented area.

Keep your space heaters at least 3 feet away from anything that can burn and out of high traffic areas and doorways where they may become a tripping hazard.

Do not forget! Tonight starting at 630 join us at N 2nd and Jefferson and follow the fire truck back to the firehouse for chili, hotdogs and refreshments. There will also be a costume contest put on by the Village of Fayetteville!

Today a concerned citizen approached one of the members of the department stating the boat ramp looked a little muddy and hard to get down due to the recent drop in water levels. Tonight members of the department took 2167 and cleaned the ramp as best as they could. Please remember we can only clean up to the water level on ramp and past that may still have mud. Be safe boating this weekend with this beautiful weather!
