𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗞𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡 – 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟰
𝑨 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆
When someone asks for the privilege of serving as a judge, I believe voters should look beyond what that person says during a campaign.
𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱.
Has that person demonstrated a commitment to service over time? Have others trusted them with responsibility and leadership? Have they used their experience to strengthen their profession and their community?
𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚, 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚.
Throughout nearly 30 years of practicing law, I have tried to use my experience not only to advocate for my clients, but also to serve the legal profession and the people of Arkansas.
I have had the privilege of:
• Serving as President of the Arkansas Bar Association, representing and leading an organization serving more than 4,000 Arkansas lawyers.
• Being appointed as a Special Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court.
• Receiving a gubernatorial appointment to serve as Chair of the Arkansas Commission on Child Abuse, R**e and Domestic Violence.
• Serving nine years through an appointment by the Arkansas Supreme Court on the Arkansas Access to Justice Foundation, working to improve access to our justice system.
• Being recognized as county Pro Bono Attorney of the Year for providing legal services to people who otherwise might not have been able to afford them.
And throughout those years, I have continued doing the work that has defined my career—representing people in Arkansas courtrooms, advocating for children and families, and serving the community I call home.
These aren’t things I did because I planned to run for judge someday.
They are part of a long-standing record of service.
I believe leadership is demonstrated over time. Integrity is demonstrated over time. Commitment to community is demonstrated over time.
And when we choose our judges, I believe a candidate’s record should matter.
I am proud of mine, and I would be honored to bring that lifetime of experience, leadership, integrity, and service to the bench as your Circuit Judge.
