Another productive weekend in Rocky Bar, Idaho, with Dale Erdmann, Chris Ordner, Austin Bland and Helen Ordner 😜. Bringing home the first load of wood , for storage, from the Historic Mercantile Buulding. Continuing on our "Labor of Love".

On our maiden voyage, camping 7-27-2017, took a short quad ride to Rocky Bar, Idaho, to see our friends, Steve and Gail ! 3 weeks later, 8-19-2017, became neighbors !!

~ROCKY BAR INSIGHT~

Rocky Bar is located approximately 15 miles south of Atlanta, ID.

Through rough terrain, steep mountains and extreme weather, Rocky Bar was very difficult for gold seekers and miners to get to, especially during winter months.

Typically Atlanta has only 6 days a year with temperatures above 90 degrees (F) and 232 days a year with temperatures below 32 degrees (F).

We have recently purchased these 3 historical buildings, Golden Chariot Placer #6, Golden Chariot Placer #8 and the Merchantile Building, which were built in 1900. Located at the junction of Rocky Bar road and Atlanta road, we plan to rebuild and restore them, along with our children, Chad Erdmann, Brent Little, Chelsea Erdmann, Kyle Little, Chase Erdmann, and Chris Ordner. May God bless our new adventure, and may God bless Rocky Bar !! We look forward to seeing you there, in our little corner of God's Country !!
