Hyland Hills Parks & Recreation was established in 1955 and serves residents in Federal Heights, Westminster, Arvada, Northglenn, Thornton, and Southwest Adams County. de (a joint endeavor with the City of Westminster), Adventure Golf and Raceway, the Donald E. VanArsdale Gymnastics Center and the MAC, a center for active adult lifestyles (jointly owned with the City of Westminster). In addition, Hyland Hills maintains 27 parks with a total of 424 acres, 29 sports fields, 3 community centers, 8 racquetball courts, 15 tennis courts, 3 outdoor swimming pools, a disc golf course, a skate park and batting cages at the Sports Complex.
