If you’ve had a student at SLV in the past 20+ years, then chances are you have met the counseling’s office secretary, Jeannette Lange. Today is Jeannettes last day at SLVHS!
This Queen is Graduating aka Retiring!!
Jeannette has a heart of 💛 gold and always puts the students first! She always greet you with a smile, kind word or a hug! She has been there for all students during the good and hard times! Every year she plans and organizes 🧑‍🎓 She is there in the wee 😴 hours setting up AP testing! You will find her at each and every Back to School and Open House functions 🏫
She is dedicated ✨
Please come by the high school and wish her well! She loves Starbucks 😜

Our Graduation will be livestreamed tomorrow.

Graduation will be livestreamed on the NFHS Network online.
If you go to this website: https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/users/sign_in you can login if you already have an account, or create an account for free.

Right now, we are trying to find out if this will stream for free or if you need a subscription. We will send that info out as soon as we have it.
If you do need a subscription, it is $10.99 for one month, which will get the graduation stream. Last year, the event was free to stream.

A poem to the Class of 2022
🐾 ❤️ 👩‍🎓 🧑‍🎓 ❤️🐾
Twelve years of school
seems like such a long time
yet here you all are
leaving your family behind

Sure it's a good thing
I will be sad when you go
getting on to new adventures
you're the future you should know

Now Seniors, Parents & teachers,
you've endured way too much
Jack, Lahey and then there is Cash
so many hearts that they have touched

Between each of your loss'
your friends, husband and father
the pandemic didn't care
a pain and such a bother

You survived all of that;
masks in class are still required.
Having to test twice a week
with a group named Inspire

And look, you finally made it!
Graduating from SLV today.
A fine class of Two thousand twenty-two
You're all amazing wouldn't you say!
