Following the exercise, we would like to extend our gratitude to everyone for their patience and cooperation. The community's response to the CruzAware notification enabled our team to assess the effectiveness of the feedback loop within the software platform, ultimately enhancing incident management and resource allocation. We appreciate the role players who tested the deputies' resource management skills. Despite the inclement weather, valuable training opportunities like today refine our planning process, and the lessons learned are integrated into other community planning tools. Special recognition goes to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office and Cal Fire for their dedication to serving our community. This preparedness exercise focused on evacuation procedures, communications and benchmarking time phased operations.

Zayante Fire celebrating service and sacrifices by many in the Felton Remembers Memorial Day parade. We lost 6 lbs of candy accidentally on the street but many children and adults helped us recover it. Have a safe holiday weekend. On to the Lumber Jack Fest at Roaring Camp!
