Fennimore Rescue Squad

Fennimore Rescue Squad Fennimore Rescue Squad provides high quality pre-hospital medical care and transport to the residents and visitors of the Fennimore area.

Who We Are

Our Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) are your friends and neighbors who have been professionally trained to help in a medical emergency. They volunteer their time at a moment’s notice, day or night, with no expectation of compensation. Many of our members are also local firefighters, nurses, and law enforcement officers. EMT’s regularly practice and attend refresher training to ma

intain their skills. The Fennimore Rescue Squad provides care in the city and township of Fennimore and the surrounding townships and communities. We are licensed by the State of Wisconsin and fully insured. What We Do

When you dial 911 for a medical emergency EMT’s are notified immediately via pagers. They will respond in an ambulance and sometimes also their personal vehicles. EMT’s typically arrive onscene within 5 minutes of you calling for help. They provide basic life support and patient stabilization in the critical early minutes of a medical emergency. During transport to the hospital they will continue to provide care and monitor the patient and update the
hospital on their condition. EMT’s regularly work with local fire departments, law enforcement agencies, rescue squads, and other public safety agencies at trainings and emergency scenes. The Fennimore Rescue Squad responds to approximately 275-300 calls and stand-bys each year including fires, motor vehicle accidents, rescue situations, inter-facility transfers, sporting events and medical emergencies with a dedicated volunteer staff of 10-20 licensed Emergency Medical Technicians. Our priority is to provide the highest level of pre-hospital medical care to the residents and visitors of the Fennimore area. To accomplish this we strive to have a strong relationship with the community.
