⛳ FENTON ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Zach Szczepanski ⛳
It’s tee time for our weekly spotlight! This week, we are catching up with Zach Szczepanski, a proud member of the Class of 2007 who turned his passion for sports into an incredible career. 🐯🧡🖤
🏌️♂️ From the Fenton Greens to FootJoy
After his time at Fenton High, Zach attended Saginaw Valley State University (Go Cardinals! ❤️). Today, he lives out East in beautiful New Hampshire, where he works as a Sales Rep for FootJoy!
Zach credits FHS for teaching him the ultimate "adulting" skill: the daily grind. Juggling classes, homework, deadlines, and extracurriculars taught him how to prioritize and push through even when he didn't feel like it—a mindset that has been essential for his career success.
🏈 Friday Nights & Half-Price Apps
If you graduated in the late 2000s, Zach’s favorite Fenton memory will hit you right in the nostalgia! He fondly remembers the electric energy of Friday night football games—cheering on his classmates in the stands, hanging with best friends, and immediately heading to Applebee's afterward. 🍔🍟
🍎 A Coach and a Role Model
Zach was a member of the FHS Golf team, and he sends a massive shout-out to Mr. Sullivan. Zach describes him as a bright, positive person who made class fun, excelled as a coach, and stood out as an incredible role model and father figure. Educators of high character like Mr. Sullivan truly make a lasting impact on our students! 🤝
💡 Zach’s Advice for Current Tigers:
"Stop over-worrying about grades, the future, or what others think. The pressure you’re putting on yourself isn’t worth the stress. Enjoy the little things because life speeds by faster than you realize, and those small things become the memories you treasure most." ✨
Let’s show Zach some love! 🧡🖤 Did you play golf with Zach, or were you part of the Friday night Applebee's crew? Drop a comment below to say hello! 👇
