Thanks to Linda for the awesome June calendar board. It’s full of events for June. Be sure to sign up on Beanstack or pick up a paper log for the summer reading program: Plant a Seed: Read. Check out the prizes in the foyer display cases.

Monday, June 8…Musical Playtime from 1-2 pm.

Thursday, June 11…Stories for Littles at 10 am

Silly Safari at the YMCA from 1:30-2:30. This event is sponsored by the
Friends of the Ferdinand Library.

Sand Candle Making Craft for Teens and Adults from 6-7 pm. There is
a Waitlist for this event.

Friday, June 12…Russian Nesting Doll (Matryoshka) Craft for kids from 1-2 pm. There appears to be 4 openings still.

Early Bird Book Sale for Friends members from 3:30-4:30 pm

Saturday, June 13…Friends of the Library Basement Book Sale from
10-1.

This months sale is ginormous!! We have had some spectacular donations. Come check it out!! Thanks to all who donate to our sales. These monies paid for several Summer Reading events.

Wowza! These last three weeks have been incredible with DONATIONS!!! The majority are out and ready but new ones come in daily.

We thank you!!!!

And, we’ll keep working diligently to get them ALL out on display for purchasing on June 12th for the Early Bird Member Sale (3:30-4:30) and Saturday, June 13th from 10:00-1:00.

Fulda Shortcut, just north of 1600 N, is currently closed due to a property-damage accident. 🚗💥
Emergency personnel are on scene, and the roadway will remain closed while the accident scene is cleared and debris is removed to ensure the safety of the traveling public. 🚓🚒
🛑 Please avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
The roadway will reopen once cleanup operations have been completed and it is safe for travel. ✅

The Friends of the Ferdinand Library Second Saturday Basement Book Sale is June 13th from 10:00-1:00.

The Early Bird (Members) Sale is Friday, June 12th from 3:30-4:30.

No pictures of Linda’s library event board yet!! The June calendar is packed with activities and events!! Be sure to register for the Summer Reading program: “Plant a Seed: Read” on Beanstack or pick up a paper log at the library’s front desk. The prizes are displayed in the foyer’s display cases.

Monday, June 1st…Summer Reading Kickoff at 10 am. Uncle Red the Magician. There’s limited seating for the first 50 people.

Tuesday, June 2…Bunny Rabbits in the Playpen House from 9:30-10:30. Bunnies will be available to see, pet and adore!!

Wednesday, June 3…PopsicleStick Extravaganza. Go to the Programming Room and decorate a popsicle stick or two. All of the popsicle sticks will be assembled into an awesome display to be shown at the Library!!

Thursday, June 4…Stories for Littles at 10 am.

Indy Air Bears at the YMCA at 1:30. This is a world champion jump
rope team. Thanks to the Friends of the Library for sponsoring this
event!

Adult Book Club at 2 pm. New members welcomed.

Friday, June 5…Soup Opera Puppet Show at 1 pm. Based on the book
by Jim Gill.

Be sure to pick up June and July calendars at the library or online. The librarians have done a fantastic job filling our summer with adventure.

Less than 2 weeks until the next Friends Book Sale. Our tables and shelves are filling up with great donations!! Thanks!
