As National Public Works Week comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible men and women of our Public Works Department.

From maintaining our streets and parks to responding during storms, repairing infrastructure, collecting debris, and keeping our city running day in and day out โ€” their work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is seen throughout our community every single day.

Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving our residents. We appreciate everything you do to help keep our city safe, clean, and moving forward. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿšง๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Road Closures Saturday, May 16th!โœจ
The 17th Annual Ferguson Twilight Run will be held on Saturday, May 16. Streets along the race routes will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4:30 PM to 7:45 PM to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Roadways will reopen as soon as the final runners/walkers clear each section. Estimated closure times and routes are available on the attached map and at this link. We appreciate your patience and understanding and encourage everyone to plan ahead for these temporary closures.

And there is still time to sign-up to Join the Excitement by participating and/or volunteering in this award-winning community tradition! The Ferguson Twilight Run features a 1-Mile Fun Run, 5K, 10K, and virtual option. Participants can look forward to energetic cheer stations along the route and a lively post-race celebration featuring a free concert at the Plaza at 501 with local Djs, health and wellness vendors, and beer samples. All race finishers receive a commemorative medal, and participants receive an event shirt with registration. If running or walking is not your thing - No problem!

We invite you to come out, cheer on the 1,100+ participants, and enjoy the festivities with your community. Learn more or register at: www.FergTwilightRun.com

Happy International Firefighters Day to the incredible men and women who serve our community! ๐Ÿš’โค๏ธ

Today, the City of Ferguson proudly recognizes our firefighters for the dedication, bravery, and compassion they bring to their work every single day. Whether theyโ€™re responding to emergencies, educating residents on safety, or showing up to community events, their impact goes far beyond the firehouse.

Our firefighters are a constant presence in Fergusonโ€”supporting neighborhood events, connecting with our youth, and building strong relationships throughout the community. That commitment to service and engagement is what truly sets them apart.

We are grateful for everything you do to keep Ferguson safe, informed, and connected. Thank you for being such an important part of our community! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ”ฅ
