The was privileged to be a part of the Seminole County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony held at Cranes Roost Park. We gathered to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community. This annual event paid tribute to the six Seminole County Sheriff's Office deputies who lost their lives in the line of duty, along with officers and deputies from the Longwood Police Department, and Town of Windermere Police Department. Their names were among the 282 read aloud during the 38th annual candlelight vigil at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C.
