Happy Mother’s Day to our Life on Purpose Detroit team, and every friend of Life on Purpose who may be reading this today.
Today, we want to honor every woman who carries so much, often without recognition. The women who are mothers at home, mothers in the workplace, mothers in leadership, mothers in spirit, Super Women Heroes, and mothers through the way they love, guide, protect, and show up for others.
There is something powerful about the energy of women who protect, build, nurture, lead, and keep going. We turn pain into purpose. Those who carry resilience in their bones. Who has the strength that people depend on, even when they do not always understand the weight of it. And that intuition, that deep knowing, that inner voice we have learned to trust, it is not going away.
It is part of our superpower.
We see you.
We are blessed to have a strong female-led team that continues to fight for Character Education and Social Emotional Learning to be seen as necessary in education, workforce development, and life.
So today, from a Purpose perspective, this is our reminder to every woman reading this:
✅ You are a superhero. Period.
✅ You had a purpose before life had an opinion.
✅ Your strength matters.
✅ Your resilience matters.
✅ Your leadership matters.
✅ Your protection matters.
✅ Your purpose is still speaking.
To every woman holding it down, praying through it, building something, healing from something, protecting someone, or still trying to find her own peace while helping everyone else find theirs, we honor you today.
You already had a purpose.
So when it comes to protecting our children, our communities, our purpose, and the mission placed on our lives…
