In Part 2, our Superintendent and Executive Director of Finance, Holly Graham, break down special education funding, transportation costs, and MSOCs (materials, supplies, and operating costs). Vibrant art can be found on display at Ferndale Library, created by talented Vista Middle School 6th grade students. Using oil pastels, students made these colorful Sgraffito creations. Sgraffito is a decorative technique that results when a sharp tool is used to scratch through a surface to reveal a different color underneath.

Art teacher Susie Nickelson is so proud of these students!
