As we approach the end of another incredible school year, our students have been busy participating in a variety of meaningful events and celebrations. From Latinos in Action and Kwechost activities to the Joint Middle School Band Concert and our final soccer match of the season, students had opportunities to showcase their talents, leadership, culture, and school spirit. Bravo to our Vista Middle School orchestra students on a fantastic spring performance! Their hard work, growth, and talent were on full display last night. A special thank you to teacher, Donna Loomis, for the dedication, passion and support that helped make the performance such a success.

If you have an 8th grader interested in playing high school football, coaches will be on campus during lunch, tomorrow (5/21), to connect with interested students, share information about the program and discuss important upcoming dates and opportunities. If your student is interested in learning more, please encourage them to come meet the coaches at this informational session!

Coaches from other sports also plan on dropping in on 8th grade lunches throughout the spring.

On Friday afternoon, Vista held a school-wide assembly to recognize recent student achievements, participate in class competitions, and enjoy time as a school community. It was a fun way to honor the hard work happening across campus. Students also celebrated National School Principal's Day by presenting Mr. Jensen with a pie... To the face! This week, we’re celebrating Administrative Professionals Week and want to recognize the incredible work of Eva Viveros-Hernandez (administrative assistant - attendance), Jen Henken (administrative assistant to the principal) and Hilleary Sorenson (registrar).

They are often the first to welcome our students and families and the steady support behind the scenes that keeps everything running smoothly.

Their kindness, organization and care make a difference every day! Vista is grateful for all they do.
