📢 Event Update from Fernwood Volunteer Fire Department
We’ve made the decision to cancel our April 4th Movie Night due to low participation.
We’re here to bring the community together, and we want to make sure when we host events, they’re worth your time and ours. Right now just wasn’t the right timing.
☀️ Good news: We WILL be bringing Movie Night back this summer when school is out — and we plan to make it bigger and better.
We appreciate everyone who showed interest and support, and we look forward to seeing y’all soon.

🚒 Thank You, McComb! ❤️
The Fernwood Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out today to support us at Uptown Mall in McComb, Mississippi!
We had a great time spending the day with our community, meeting so many of you, and especially getting to interact with the kids. From trying on gear to learning what firefighters do, it was a day full of smiles and great moments.
We truly appreciate your support—it means more than you know. Being able to connect with the people we serve is one of the best parts of what we do.

You don’t have to be a firefighter to serve your community.
📋 Board Members Needed
• Must live inside our district
• Voluntary, no special qualifications
• Help guide and support the department
🚨 On-Scene Support Roles
• Assist with traffic control, rehab, and scene support
• Help firefighters during emergencies
• Training provided
❤️ Auxiliary Members Needed
• Support the department through fundraisers, events, and volunteer support
