WANTED SUBJECT

PRESS RELEASE
September 1, 2021
Vidalia- On September 1, 2021, Ferriday Police Department Officers had the occasion to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle, near the intersection of Louisiana and E.E. Wallace Blvd. As the officer made contact with the driver, the vehicle fled the location at a high rate of speed, leading officers on a high speed pursuit through a residential area. Officers were able to stop the vehicle shortly after, however, the driver along with a passenger fled the location on foot. The passenger was apprehended, but the driver is still at large. He was last seen in the area of Ferriday Market wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, white socks and no shoes.

Charges: Theft of a Motor Vehicle;
Child Endangerment;
Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer; Aggravated Flight
