🔥 STRUCTURE FIRE 🔥

On March 20, 2025, at approximately 02:46 PM, Ferris DPS were dispatched to a structure fire on the 1000 block of Western Hills Dr.

Upon arrival, Ferris DPS personnel were met with a partially involved fire. Mutual Aid from Red Oak FD, Wilmer FD, Hutchins FD, and Lancaster FD were all on scene to assist.

No other structures were in harms way and all personal were able to quickly extinguish the fire. Thank you to all mutual aid for the assistance.

🔥 STRUCTURE FIRE 🔥

On March 19, 2025, at approximately 01:45 am, Ferris DPS recieved multiple calls in regard to a house explosion and grass fire off of FM-780.

Upon arrival, Ferris DPS personnel were met with a fully involved structure. Mutual Aid from Red Oak, Wilmer, Palmer, and Bristol were all on scene to assist. Ellis County Fire Marshals Office took over the investigation.

No other structures were in harms way and all personal were able to successfully extinguish the fire. Thank you to all mutual aid for the assistance.
