How is it already time for a Festus Friday Recap!?

Festus had one incredible week of fun, laughs, tuning in our fine motor skills, working towards our goals, practicing financial literacy, increasing our independence and practicing safety in the community! We also enjoyed a tasty treat to celebrate National Reese's cheesecake that we quickly worked off with workouts!

We are loving welcoming Belen to the crew! She is already making such a positive impact at the center!

Miss Chloe with Positive Note Positive Note Music Therapy, LLC serenaded us with her beautiful voice, we jumped out of our comfort zones and performed solo in front of our peers and always have an incredible time in music therapy! 🎶

Tuesday allowed us the opportunity to remain positive with change and pivot as the outing for the day changed due to the pool being closed. We can't thank Imperial Bowl enough for being such a gracious host in such a short notice! 🎳

We cranked it with Volansky Health & Fitness y during our Soulja Boy cardio drumming and shew did we work our legs!! We had a blast jumping, cranking, dancing, drumming and breaking a 🥁 sweat!

This crew enjoyed a delicious lunch at Culver's in Crystal City.and even ran into some of our friends from My Place Desoto! Thank you Culver's for being so gracious and accommodating! 🍔

Fun Friday was a hit! We played with a parachute, corn hole, kick ball, Wii bowling and so many more games!

We wore pink in honor of Dolly Parton today! 💗

🌟 Happy Friday from Imperial! 🌟

We hope everyone had an amazing week because we sure did! 💙 We kept busy making memories, having fun, and working hard on our goals. We tie-dyed shirts, made crafts and jewelry, and enjoyed lunch by the fountains at Art Hill before visiting the animals at Suson Park and treating ourselves to some ice cream at Culver’s! 🍦☀️

Some of us enjoyed a delicious lunch at Cracker Barrel while others took a scenic ride through Lone Elk Park. We had an absolute blast during music therapy with Chloe, enjoyed a picnic and some fun at the park, played life skills games, and got plenty of movement in with our dance workouts! 🎶💃🧺

It was another week filled with laughter, learning, friendship, and new experiences. We are so proud of everyone for continuing to work toward their goals while having fun and making the most of each day! 💙✨

We are already looking forward to another amazing week at Imperial! Have a wonderful weekend! 🥰🎉
