City of Festus Beautiful parks, safe neighborhoods, a thriving historic Main Street, and so much more - Festus is i It also included what was known as Derby City, W.A.

At the time of incorporation in 1887, the City of Festus encompassed approximately 190 acres of land. This included the area south of the Burlington Northern Railroad tracks, north of Harrison Lane, and east of Sunset Park. Gamel Subdivision, McAllister Subdivision, Sherlock Subdivision, W.A. Adams Subdivision, and several pieces of farmland. In the 100 years since its incorporation, the city has grown to 2,300 acres, or about 3.6 square miles.

Congratulations, Tigers! We’re so proud of you!

The Festus girls and boys track teams are coming home with state trophies. The girls are STATE CHAMPIONS for the second year in a row. The boys finish in a tie for 4th place. This is the first time both teams have won state trophies in the same year.

Go Tigers!

The Festus Tigers baseball and boys and girls track and field teams have a big weekend ahead. The boys and girls track and field teams are competing at the Class 4 state meet in Jefferson City Friday and Saturday. Tickets are digital only and cost $12 per day. The baseball Tigers are competing in the Class 5 state quarterfinals. It is a best of three series. One game on Friday afternoon, and two games on Saturday if necessary. Tickets for those games are also digital only and are $10 per day.
