Forest Area Community Schools just implemented a program called Gone Boarding https://www.goneboardingedu.com/ that takes students through the design, construction, and riding of boards.
Our students were very successful with street decks and longboards and want to move on to mountain boards, stand up paddle boards, and snowboards this coming fall.
We will also be building a 1/2 pipe, motorizing our mountain boards, and making a music video to compete in the GoPro Video Contest and the end of the year.
