🌲 Help Keep Our Public Lands Beautiful 🌲

Just a friendly reminder that dumping yard waste—or any other waste—on tax-forfeited property is not allowed.

Unfortunately, once an area becomes a dumping spot, it often attracts even more illegal dumping. To help prevent this, some problem areas may be gated to keep vehicles from entering.

The good news is that these forest roads are still intended to be enjoyed by the public, so they will remain open for ATV and snowmobile use where appropriate.

Thank you for helping keep our forests clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting these public lands!

Storm Cleanup Update

We'd like to provide an updated thank you to everyone who helped respond to Monday night's storm.
The Fifty Lakes Fire Department was out from 9:50 PM to 1:30 AM, working to open roads and make them passable for residents, utility crews, and emergency personnel. Thank you to all of the firefighters who responded overnight.
Our Maintenance Department then spent the following day continuing cleanup efforts. The crew was back out starting at 6:00 AM this morning to continue removing debris and cleaning up storm damage. The clean up is extensive and will continue into next week.
We appreciate the dedication of both departments and thank our residents for their patience as cleanup continues. Please continue to use caution around work crews and any remaining debris.

A huge thank you to our Maintenance Department for their hard work today clearing storm debris from our city roads. We’re proud to report that all City roads are now passable!

Our crew will be back out starting at 6:00 AM tomorrow to continue cleanup efforts. We appreciate everyone's patience and ask that you continue to use caution around cleanup crews and any remaining debris.

Storm Cleanup Reminder 🌳

As our community continues cleaning up after the recent storms, we'd like to remind everyone that the City of Fifty Lakes does not have a brush dump or storm debris disposal site.

Please make arrangements to dispose of branches, brush, and other storm debris through the appropriate county or private disposal services.
