Moose is looking for a home at Fillmore City Animal Shelter ❤️
Moose is a 7-year-old Ridgeback/Boxer/Mastiff mix who is deeply devoted to his people. He’s the kind of dog who forms a strong bond and just wants to be part of your daily life.
He absolutely loves other dogs and truly thrives with canine companionship. Moose would do especially well in a home with another friendly dog to help him feel comfortable and engaged.
And because Moose deserves the right match this time, here’s the important part: he is not a fit for a home with children. He previously lived with a 7-year-old child and there were two bite incidents, including one that broke skin. Moose needs a calm, adult-only home with an experienced owner who will respect his boundaries and give him the structure and security he needs to feel safe.
Moose is neutered and vaccinated. He’s currently at a small shelter that doesn’t get much foot traffic, so getting eyes on him matters. Please share to help him find the home he’s been waiting for.
