🚧 Road Closure Notice – Festival Weekend 🚧

Road closures are now in effect for the festival. The restaurants and the Post Office will remain accessible through tomorrow.

If you need to travel through the area, please use caution and drive slowly around the tents and other festival equipment that may be in or near the roadway.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we prepare for a great community event. We look forward to seeing everyone at the festival!

COMMUNITY NOTICE – SOLICITOR PERMIT APPROVED

The Findlay Police Department would like to inform residents that Conxxus has been approved for a 2026 Solicitor Permit and representatives may be conducting door-to-door solicitation within the Village of Findlay.

Approved solicitors include:

Andrew Fryman
Jordan Beck
Wayne Woolen

Residents are reminded that solicitors must comply with Village ordinances and should be prepared to provide identification and their approved solicitor permit upon request.

Residents are encouraged to:

Ask to see the solicitor’s permit and identification.
Never feel pressured to make a purchase or provide personal information.
Contact the Findlay Police Department with any concerns regarding solicitor activity.

The approval of a solicitor permit does not constitute an endorsement of any company or product by the Findlay Police Department or the Village of Findlay.

Mosquito Spraying Notice 🦟

The Village of Findlay will be conducting mosquito spraying tonight beginning at approximately 7:30 PM, weather permitting.

To help protect your family and pets, residents may wish to:
• Close windows and doors during spraying.
• Bring pets, pet dishes, and children's toys indoors if they are outside.
• Avoid being outside in the immediate area while spraying is taking place.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to reduce the mosquito population and help make our community more enjoyable this summer.

Grant Funding Update 📢

With the recent discussions and conversations regarding Flock cameras, we want to clarify that the intent of the $9,000 Organized Retail Crime Grant funding awarded to the Findlay Police Department was not to purchase Flock camera systems.

Our plan is to use these funds to improve existing technology that directly benefits our community, including upgrading our park camera system and exploring upgrades to the camera systems in our police vehicles.

These improvements will help enhance public safety, assist with investigations, and provide better tools for our officers while continuing to be responsible stewards of grant funding.

We appreciate the community’s questions, feedback, and continued support of the Findlay Police Department. Our goal remains the same — using available resources to help keep Findlay safe. 💙👮‍♂️

🎉 Big news for the Findlay Police Department! 🎉

We are excited to announce that the Findlay Police Department has been awarded $9,000 in Organized Retail Crime Grant funding for Fiscal Year 2027!

This funding will be used to purchase high-definition cameras to help improve public safety, support our local businesses, and strengthen law enforcement efforts in our community.

We are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to putting these funds to work to help keep Findlay safe and protected.

Following last night's storms, Village crews will be conducting a special branch pickup to help residents with storm cleanup.

Residents are asked to place tree branches at the curb no later than Monday for collection by Village Public Works. Please place branches neatly at the curb and keep them out of the street, sidewalks, and drainage areas.

We appreciate your cooperation as we work to clear storm debris throughout the community. Thank you to our Public Works crews for their efforts and to our residents for helping keep our village safe and clean.
