There might not be a Behavior Coach Appreciation Day, but we made our own today since it was Mrs. Benson’s birthday! 💙🎉

To say she keeps Jefferson running would honestly be an understatement. Mrs. Benson works nonstop every single day supporting students, staff, and administration in ways that often happen behind the scenes. From helping students regulate emotions and make positive choices, to jumping in whenever and wherever she’s needed, she truly goes above and beyond in everything she does.

She spends her days running from one situation to the next, solving problems, encouraging kids, supporting teachers, and helping shape our students into the very best versions of themselves. Her patience, heart, and dedication make a difference in our building every single day.

Jefferson is a better place because of Mrs. Benson, and today we were so happy to celebrate and show our appreciation for all she does.

What a beautiful day for Field Day at Jefferson! ☀️💙💛

From relay races and parachute games to bubbles, bounce houses, and Kona Ice, the afternoon was filled with nonstop fun, laughter, and sunshine.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible Field Day committee for planning every last detail and making today such a special experience for our students. We’re also so grateful to all of our family volunteers who spent the afternoon with us helping everything run so smoothly!

Days like today are what make Jefferson so special. 🎉

Today we celebrate our amazing Speech Language Pathologist, Miss Lostoski, for Speech Language Pathologist Appreciation Day! 💙💛

Miss Lostoski is a constant source of support for our students and staff at Jefferson Primary. Her calm and kind demeanor helps students feel safe, confident, and heard, while her positivity and student-centered approach shine through in every interaction and IEP meeting.

We are so grateful for the thoughtful, data-centered decisions she makes to help every student grow and succeed. Thank you, Miss Lostoski, for the care, compassion, and dedication you bring to Jefferson Primary each and every day. Your impact reaches far beyond words! 🗣️✨

☀️ Field Day is TOMORROW! ☀️

Field Day will take place from 12:00–2:30 PM, and the forecast is looking sunny and HOT! Please help your child be prepared for an afternoon of fun by sending them with:

👟 Socks and tennis shoes
🧴 Sunscreen applied before school
💧 A water bottle (labeled with their name)
🧢 A hat or visor (labeled with their name)

Parent volunteers who signed up should arrive by 11:45 AM. Thank you for helping make the day extra special for our students!

🍽️ Please note: There will be NO hot lunch option tomorrow. Sack lunches will include either a cold cut sandwich or a SunButter & Jelly sandwich.

🍧 And the best part… all students will get to enjoy Kona Ice during Field Day!
