The deadline to file petitions for the nonpartisan offices on the November ballot is August 6th! The nonpartisan offices appearing on the November 4, 2025 General Election ballot are: Township Trustee, Village Council and School Board. Petition packets are available at our office.

You must vote at your designated precinct on election day. There is no voting on this day at the Hancock County Board of Elections.

OCTOBER 7, 2024 is the final day to register to vote, change your address and/or name before early voting starts on October 8, 2024.

The Hancock County Board of Elections will be open from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm on October 7, 2024 to accommodate you.

You must be registered to vote and/or update your voter information by close of business at the Hancock County Board of Elections on October 7, 2024 to be able to vote in the November 5, 2024 election.

Early voting begins at the Hancock County Board of Elections on October 8, 2024.

Hancock County Board of Elections is looking for poll workers for upcoming November 5 election. If you are able to work at the polls, let them know by September 20 by calling 419-422-3245. Hours for a poll worker on election day is 5:30 am to 8:00 pm. Poll workers are paid a minimum $190 for an election.

Poll workers must attend a training session before working the polls on election day.
