🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT – ROUTE 88 CLOSURE 🚧

Please be advised that PennDOT will be closing a portion of State Route 88 in Union Township beginning Monday, August 3, at 6:00 AM.

Closure Location:
📍 Route 88 between Hidden Hollow Road and Beach Drive/Cardox Road

The closure is necessary due to an open excavation and is expected to remain in place through mid-August.

Detour Route:
Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing:
• Connor Road (Route 3038)
• South Park Road (Route 3009)
• McMurray Road (Route 1002)
• Bebout Road (Route 1019)
• Valley Brook Road (Route 1010)
• Venetia Road (Route 1006)
• Route 88

Local Access:
• Hidden Hollow Road will remain accessible from the south.
• Beach Drive will remain accessible from the north.
• There will be no through traffic on Route 88 between these locations.

Please allow extra travel time, follow all posted detours, and use caution while traveling through the area.

What a day! ⚾🚒

We want to extend a huge thank you to the Pittsburgh Firefighters Foundation and Pittsburgh Firefighters Local 1 for putting together another outstanding event. The time, effort, and dedication it takes to host a tournament of this size is truly appreciated, and we're grateful to have been a part of it.

A big thank you as well to all of the event sponsors whose support helps make this tournament possible, and to the incredible food truck vendors who kept everyone fueled throughout the day with some amazing food.

Last but certainly not least, we're incredibly proud of our Finleyville Volunteer Fire Department softball team. You all left everything on the field, played with heart, represented our department with pride, and never quit. The scoreboard doesn't define the effort, teamwork, and camaraderie you showed today. We couldn't be prouder of the way you battled from start to finish.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us. We had a great time and are already looking forward to next year!
