It's going to be a hoot-hollerin' good time in the 2026 FIRCREST FUN DAYS! Kids Zone. We've got a whole mess of Fircrest FUN planned for the young 'uns. Check out the line up below.
We'll even have a lil' horse (Eddie not Sebastian IYKYK 😉) cuz every town gatherin' should have a lil horse at an event at least once a year! (photo opp only)

So gather up your neighbors & kin and meet us down at the Park. The FUN DAYS Kids Zone happens on Saturday, July 18th from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm at Fircrest Park!

Don’t forget to set your alarm clocks so you can get an early start in the morning!
All the FIRCREST COMMUNITY YARD SALE FUN starts at 9:00 am Saturday morning!
And if you don’t want to shop, but just love food truck cuisine, we’ve got you covered! We’ll have FOOD TRUCKS at the park from 11:30 to 2:30! And the coffee truck will be ready by 9:00 am!

You may have noticed that flags at City facilities are currently being flown at half-staff.

The City of Fircrest is honoring the life and service of John Bechtholt, whose dedication to our community left a lasting impact on Fircrest and its residents. John faithfully served on the Fircrest Civil Service Commission and was known for his integrity, professionalism, and commitment to public service. He was also a strong supporter of the local business community and dedicated many years to making Fircrest a better place for all.

Flags will remain at half-staff at City Hall through Friday June 12, and throughout the City until June 14.

June 14 is Flag Day, which commemorates the adoption of the United States flag by the Continental Congress in 1777 and celebrates the history, values, and freedoms represented by our nation's flag. In observance of Flag Day, the U.S. flag will be returned to full staff and displayed alongside the Washington State flag and the National League of Families POW/MIA flag in accordance with state law and City policy.

Beginning June 15, the City will display the U.S. flag, Washington State flag, and Progress Pride flag at full staff as part of its recognition of Pride Month and its commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community for all.
