🌳 FREE Tree Limb Drop-Off for Firestone Residents! 🌳

Need to clean up fallen branches or trim your trees? The Town of Firestone Parks & Forestry Divisions are offering FREE monthly tree limb disposal days throughout the summer and fall.

πŸ“… Drop-Off Dates:
β€’ June 13
β€’ July 11
β€’ August 8
β€’ September 12
β€’ October 10

⏰ Time: 7:00–11:00 a.m.

πŸ“ Location: Firestone Maintenance Facility, 7500 WCR 20

βœ… Accepted Materials: tree limbs 12 inches in diameter or smaller

❌ Not Accepted: tree stumps, leaves, grass, or other yard waste

🌿 FREE Mulch Available!
Residents can also pick up wood chips created from tree trimmings. These chips are ideal for helping retain moisture around trees and in garden beds. Please bring your own containers and be prepared to load the material yourself.

Town staff will be on-site to direct traffic and assist with unloading tree limbs.

🚧 Road Work Ahead: 2026 Street Maintenance Projects 🚧

Beginning Monday, June 8, Town of Firestone contractors will begin roadway improvements on Firestone Boulevard and Jake Jabs Boulevard as part of the 2026 Street Maintenance Project.

Work will include roadway patching, milling, asphalt overlay, pavement markings, street striping, and other improvements designed to extend the life of our roadways and enhance safety for motorists.

Project Areas:
πŸ“ Firestone Boulevard – Frontage Road to Birch Street
πŸ“ Jake Jabs Boulevard – Firestone Boulevard south to the end of the roadway

⏱ Construction is expected to continue through July 10, weather permitting. Drivers should anticipate temporary lane closures, traffic pattern changes, reduced speeds in work zones, and occasional delays.

Please use caution when traveling through construction areas and allow extra travel time when possible.

Beginning Friday, June 5, 2026, through Labor Day, Town Hall and the Firestone Maintenance Facility will close to the public at 1:00 p.m. on Friday afternoons.

Administrative Services at the Firestone Police Department will continue regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Residents can also access many Town services online 24/7, including utility bill payments, building permit information, and more at www.firestoneco.gov.

The Town of Firestone is now accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Board of Trustees to fill a vacant Trustee position through the November 2026 Regular Municipal Election.

Firestone operates under a council-manager form of government, where the Mayor and Board of Trustees serve as the Town’s policymakers, helping guide the direction and priorities of the community.

The Board of Trustees holds regular meetings on the third Wednesday of each month, with Work Sessions scheduled on the second Wednesday or as needed.
