Chickadee Club - Peninsula State Park

The Naturalist position that created the Chickadee Club is no longer funded by the park, so the program is inactive, but I'll keep the page open for people to enjoy pix. The birds still appear around the area and can be hand-fed.

During winter, the nature center is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and may be open during other times as staffing permits.

The park is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. year-round.

A vehicle admission sticker is required.

It's a beautiful day at the White Oak Nature Center at Peninsula State Park! Naturalist Kathleen Harris is teaching kids and their parents about nature and wildlife, and hand-feeding the Chickadees. (Y)

Spring hours usually 9-noon Saturdays.

Park Naturalist Kathleen Harris will be at the nature center Friday 12/29 from 2:00-5:30, and from 12:00-3:00 Saturday 12/30.
