IMPORTANT INFO: I have reached out to many residents who had flood damage already but in case you were missed please keep the following number. 317-645-3261. At a meeting today, Hamilton County Emergency Management informed us this is the one central number for those seeking help with flood relief. You should call and register. You can also do it in person at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds 8-8pm They should be able to direct you to all things you may need new and in the future including temporary housing.. This may also include Federal dollars for your loss. So call. It also includes assessment of damages, as well as help with drying out and hauling away things. They can provide translators for non English speaking residents. Everything. They are the one stop shop.

Fall Creek Township and Fishers will continue to assist as well. We have food and many cleaning supplies ready at our office with more being donated today. Lots of things at the Fairgrounds as well. See the picture. Hamilton County is a great community.

Fall Creek Township Office as well as other Hamilton County Townships in coordination with Hamilton County Food Harvest are collecting cleaning supplies from those wishing to donate. If you have questions as always you can call our during business hours.

In fact we already have had donations and today I dropped some off to residents.. I was in Luxhaven today talking with residents. Fishers has already placed gravel pads there and will be placing dumpsters there for residents. Residents say this is the highest they have seen it in many years. At Luxhaven the water is back in its banks. but have standing water in low areas. At Fall Creek Woods or where Southeastern crosses Fall Creek there is still a lot of water. I do believe Fall Creek will be back in its banks in a day and a half based on history, provided the rain holds off or is minor.

As always our food pantry walk in hours are T-Th.10-2 as well as you can order online for pickup within 24 business hours. I wanted to make that clear as some have put out incorrect information.

From Thursday through Saturday:

Crews made contact with residents at 85 homes.
