Over the past few days, Fishers first responders and crews have been working to connect with residents impacted by flooding along Fall Creek and the White River.

From Thursday through Saturday:

Crews made contact with residents at 85 homes.
- 34 homes were searched.
- 16 homes were evacuated, helping 27 adults, five juveniles and 20 pets reach safety.
- Each day, the response included 58 Fishers Fire Department firefighters, 12 Fishers Police Department officers and five to seven Department of Public Works personnel.

This response was a true community effort. Thank you to our partners at Hampton Inn, Residence Inn, Hamilton County Emergency Management, Duke Energy, Fall Creek Township Office, Hamilton County and Delaware Township Trustee’s Office for supporting residents and crews throughout the flooding response.
