🚨 STATE OF EMERGENCY & TRAVEL BAN IN DUTCHESS COUNTY 🚨
With 12 to 24 inches of snow forecasted for Sunday and Monday, I have declared a State of Emergency for Dutchess County to ensure the safety of our residents and allow our highway crews to clear the roads effectively.
⛔ TRAVEL BAN: A travel ban will be in effect on ALL roadways in Dutchess County from 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 25th through 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26th. Please stay off the roads and stay safe at home.
❄️ CLOSURES & SERVICE UPDATES:
• Public Transit: All service is cancelled for Sunday and Monday.
• County Parks: Closed Sunday and Monday (our Parks team will be out assisting with snow removal!).
• County Offices: All Dutchess County Government offices, including Office for the Aging Friendship Centers, will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26th.
Our crews are ready, but we need your help to keep the roads clear for emergency vehicles and plows.
