Sgt. Cadden represented the Town of Fishkill Police Department in the Law Enforcement Torch Run - Special Olympics New York today while honoring his niece Brooke, a Special Olympics Athlete.
Torch Runs by Guardians of the Flame will happen all over the state for the next month, culminating in the start of the of the Special Olympics in Ithaca on June 24th.

The Town of Fishkill Police Department would like to remind our residents to secure their vehicles.
As we have seen in the past, the majority of car thefts and break-ins/entries have occurred when the vehicle was not properly secured. Keep an eye out for suspicious activity and contact the police if you suspect a crime has been committed.
If you see something, say something.

When using ride share services such as Uber, Lyft or other services make sure you are getting into the correct vehicle with the correct driver. Always double check that the license plate on the vehicle matches the license plate that is given on the app. Double check that the driver is the same person listed on the app. Companies such as Uber and Lyft give a pin number for the driver and passenger to double check each party is correct. With any questions or concerns contact the ride share company or the local police department.

The Town of Fishkill Police Department honors the brave men and women in law enforcement who serve our community with courage, strength, integrity and dedication each and every day. The Town of Fishkill Police department is proud of the amazing men and women who show up each and everyday to answer the call.
This week allows us to honor and remember those law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.

If you see anything suspicious while attempting to use an ATM, please contact us at 845-831-1110. If you are not in the Town of Fishkill when an incident occurs contact your local law enforcement.

The goal of National Night Out is to grow the relationship between the community and law enforcement. It is a great opportunity for everyone to get together under positive circumstances to have some fun.
The Town of Fishkill Police Department is dedicated to serving our residents with compassion and understanding. We believe it is important to show our appreciation to you for the continued support you show us.
Come meet your local first responders, listen to live music by the Best of the Hudson Valley Winners, The Carrie Zazz band and enjoy some good food from local food trucks! There will be fun, games and entertainment for the kids and lots of interesting vendors to interact with. We hope to see you there!

National Night Out:
Sensory Friendly Half Hour

Sensory overstimulation can be an incredibly challenging situation for children and adults with neurological disabilities. The Town of Fishkill Police Department is committed to accommodating those individuals who require a less stimulating environment by creating the National Night Out Sensory Friendly Half Hour.

On August 5th, we invite our sensory sensitive residents to join us at 04:30 PM for National Night Out, half an hour before general admission. Using the link below, please complete the Google Form so we are aware of how many individuals to expect. If anyone in your party requires special accommodations, please indicate this in the Google form. Any questions or concerns can be directed to the Town of Fishkill Police Department Community Policing Unit or to Fishkill Recreation.
