This Thankful Thursday, we're shouting out Alexianna from LUK's Youth Development team! She was the recipient of LUK’s 2026 Exceptional Advocate Award 🏅

Alexianna was nominated by her peers for the care, creativity, and passion she brings to her work with youth in Central MA. She always does her best to adapt Youth Development programs to each group she works with, and she genuinely cares about the well-being of those around her. We are so proud of her consistent advocacy on behalf of the youth we serve and the amazing spirit she brings to her work. Thank you, Alexianna!

This past Friday, our Community Placement team wrapped up National Foster Care Month with their annual Foster Parent Appreciation Event!

They set up a great afternoon of delicious food, fun prizes, games, and gifts to show LUK's gratitude for our amazing foster families! We are incredibly thankful for the dedication, hard work, patience, and love these families show foster youth each and every day 🩷

This week LUK Mentoring presents an 8 year old girl from Clinton. She LOVES to be outside; playing at the park 🛝, swimming 🏊‍♀️, anything outdoors 🏕️, you name it. She also has an artsy side and has a passion for dancing 💃 and singing 🎤 as well as arts and crafts ✂️🖍️🧶

We had a great workshop with The Fitzpatrick Collaborative this week! This interactive Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training benefitted community members in the Nashoba Valley region, as well as LUK direct care staff.

🏀🏈 Mentee of the Week! 🏈🏀

This week we have a 10 year old boy from Westborough! This youth is active, he enjoys all sports 🏀 🏈⚾️, he loves being outside 🌳no matter what he’s doing, and he enjoys spending time with his core group of friends! 🩵
