Our community partners at Rewarding Work have invited us to share their invitation for students to consider using their program
to gain hands-on experience with behaviors involved in different developmental disabilities, across a wide range of ages. Once an applicant completes a free online profile, they can apply directly to flexible, part-time jobs in their area – or families can find them based on a customized search. The attached flyer includes more information.

Non-profit RewardingWork.org is an online directory that helps connect people of all ages with disabilities, and their families, to qualified caregivers and support professionals. Their “self-directed” care model allows individuals and families to take control of the hiring process and direct their own care, and is funded through a contract with the MA Department of Developmental Services (MA DDS).

The article looks at ways to preserve one's mental health as a more "normal" holiday season arrives amid residual stresses related to the global pandemic. Suggestions included leaning on your inner circle; creating a list of things you value most this season; giving yourself grace; simplify as much as you can; and incorporate rest.

Managing your daily life is hard enough, but burnout during the holidays can have you extra-stressed. Try these tips to destress.
