🦟 Mosquito Spraying Notice – Thursday Evening

The City of Fitchburg has announced mosquito spraying for this evening in designated areas of the city.

The following FHA communities are located within or near the treatment areas:

📍 Canton Valley (Canton Street)
📍 Green Acres (Leyte Road & Normandy Road)
📍 Daniel's Heights (Daniels Street)

Residents are encouraged to take the following precautions before spraying:

Keep pets indoors during spraying.
Close windows and doors.
Bring in or cover outdoor items if desired.
Follow any additional guidance provided by the City.

With hot temperatures expected, Fitchburg Housing Authority community rooms at Canton Valley, C.J. Durkin (Day Street), and Daniel's Heights will be open as Cooling Centers on Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3, from 12:00 PM–8:00 PM.

Stop in to cool off, enjoy air conditioning, and grab a bottle of water. Please see the flyer below for locations and details.
