The Fitzwilliam Town Library has been invited to attend the IMLS Convening 250: Telling America’s Story, hosted by the Institute of Museum and Library Science with all expenses paid in Washington, D.C. on June 9-12. This national convening brings librarians from small and rural communities together to share ideas, resources, and programs that tell the national and local American story as we approach and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
On the 9th, I have the great opportunity to tour the National Archives Museum and The Library of Congress. Day 2 & 3 will comprise of various workshops.
I am super excited to attend, learn from other librarians and share our special community with others! 📚🇺🇸
