Allstate Civil has provided a tentative outline of events on the S. Central Water Main replacement project for August & September 2025.

•Beginning tomorrow, August 7, the intersection of S. 3rd Street and Central will remain closed until paving is complete
•Over the following weeks
-S. Central between Moody Blvd. and S. 2nd Street will be closed while work is conducted; the intersection of S. 2nd Street and S. Central will stay open to thru traffic
-During early morning hours, Allstate will be switching over the old water main to the new water main; during this time, minor and short-term water service interruptions are expected. Water discoloration will be present during the switch over and customers along S. Central will want to flush their lines for a few minutes until discoloration clear
-S. Central Avenue will reopen to traffic between Moody and S. 2nd Street
-Paving will begin on S. Central from Moody Blvd to S. 3rd Street
-Curb ramps will be replaced at the intersection of S. Central and Moody Blvd, and S. 2nd Street and the sidewalks will be close to pedestrian traffic
-S. Central Ave will be open to traffic from Moody Blvd to S. 3rd Street
•During the 2nd week of September, after a 14-day cure time, stripping of crosswalks will begin

🚫🅿️🚫 ~ Attention Motorists! FDOT Central Florida is continuing it's repaving work on North Oceanshore Boulevard in Flagler Beach. There's new "No Parking" signage on North Oceanshore (A1A) to keep the dune walkovers (wooden stairways to the beach) clear. Some of those walkovers on North Oceanshore also have angled whites stripes to alert motorists, and we're working with FDOT to get the unstriped locations striped. Drive safe and the link provided will take you to the location of free City parking lots just off of SRA1A; https://www.cityofflaglerbeach.com/292/Parking

❤️🧡💚🖤 ~ Today is Juneteenth; Freedom Day! Juneteenth was made a Federal holiday in 2021 to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States, specifically the announcement of emancipation to enslaved people in Texas in 1865. This date marks a significant milestone in the history of African Americans and their fight for freedom and equality.
