πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸš²πŸšŒ What a great meeting of the minds to talk about safer ways for students to walk, bike, and roll to school in the Sunnyside neighborhood. These conversations help identify the sidewalk, crossing, bike route, and traffic-safety improvements that matter most to the people who use them every day. Thank you to everyone who shared ideas and local knowledge as we work toward safer, healthier, and more connected routes for all. πŸ“£Learn more, share your feedback, and get involved with MetroPlan Safe Routes to School.

πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸš²πŸšŒ Hey Lumberjacks! Skip the stress on Milton. The underpass near University Drive helps you walk, bike, roll, or catch transit more safely between campus, housing, downtown, and nearby shops.
πŸ›£οΈ Let's prioritize safety...look out for each other so we can all get home safely.
✨ Use the underpass. πŸ‘€ Be seen. πŸ”— Stay connected.

πŸ’‘ Did you know? Crosswalk beacons don’t all mean the same thing!
⚠️ Flashing yellow = slow down, watch for people crossing, and yield. πŸ›‘ Flashing red = stop first, then go only when the crosswalk is clear. A quick light check can help keep everyone moving safely. πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈπŸš—
