I would just like to share with you the impact that you and The Pathways Program have had directly on Princess and our Family. The amount of time and support you dedicate into our children through homework, sports, field trips, cultural enrichment, arts & crafts, etc., has helped her to become more confident within herself. The group relationships and friendships built within the program both betw
een the students and parents is a positive support system within our Native American Community. Building strong bonds and networking relationships, which would have otherwise gone wayside. This Program has brought us closer together as a Family through the resources that have been made available to us and to become better team players in the roles that we have. It has shown us the light, in a sense. We like to believe that we know the importance of culture and language preservation, but all too often we don’t practice what we know, in the already hectic and busy life that we rush through on a daily basis. As a single mother, working full time and having this after school “care” for my Princess is very refreshing. I am reassured that she is well taken care of. I can talk to the teachers without reserve and it’s nice to have that kind of open ended communication. I would like to thank you and your staff for your outstanding work that you put forth daily and showing my Princess and myself how passionate you are about what you do. I know you have gone above and beyond for many of us and that is not something I take lightly. I can honestly say; this Program is definitely unparalleled to any I have seen, considering I have had 3 older children (all in college now) come through “the system” in 3 different school districts, both on and off the reservation. This is by far the best organized, positive, constructive and most impactful of any I’ve seen before. As such I would like to thank you and extend my deepest appreciation.
