In many of our rural and tribal communities, transportation, distance, time off work, and access to information can become barriers to justice and essential services. Efforts like this matter because they help bridge those gaps and bring services directly to the people.

Thank you to all partnering agencies and organizations working together to support our communities and expand access across Coconino County and the Navajo Nation.

Please help share this information with family, elders, neighbors, and anyone who may benefit from these services.

APS has announced a potential Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) due to elevated fire weather conditions in our area.

Summit Fire & Medical District remains fully operational.
All stations are equipped with backup generators, and our crews will continue to respond to emergencies as normal.

We encourage residents to take a few simple steps to prepare:
β€’ Charge phones and essential devices
β€’ Have flashlights and extra batteries ready
β€’ Keep refrigerators/freezers closed as much as possible
β€’ Check on neighbors, especially those who may need extra assistance

As always, if you have an emergency, call 911.

We’ll continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed. Stay safe and stay prepared.
