🔹 Stay nearby until they’re safe

The start of the semester should be exciting — not dangerous. Here’s how you can look out for yourself and others:
✅ Use the buddy system when going out.
✅ Stick to well-lit areas & know your way back to your dorm/apartment.
✅ Keep your phone charged and share your location with a trusted friend.
✅ Practice affirmative consent — clear, mutual, and enthusiastic.
✅ Be a safe bystander — step in, distract, or call for help if you see trouble.
